The Common Good Research website is managed by COI Communications. By using the site you are accepting the terms and conditions set out here.

Acceptable use

Registered users are the primary audience for this website, but non-members (including the general public) are welcome to read the introductory material and non-restricted areas of the site. When using the site, you must avoid infringing the rights or enjoyment of other users, or breaking the law in any way.

Registration is open to all employees of Government departments and their Executive Agencies.

Employees of other Public Sector Bodies and Voluntary Organisations wishing to register should apply to COI by emailing commongoodresearch@coi.gsi.gov.uk. All such applications will be considered individually.

Private sector organisations under contract to government departments, their executive agencies or to COI may be eligible to register and should apply through the contracting authority.

Intellectual property

Names, images and logos identifying Common Good Research or COI Communications are proprietary marks. Copying our logo or any third party logo accessed via this site is not allowed without prior approval from the copyright owner.

Copyright

Material appearing on this site is subject to Crown copyright protection unless otherwise indicated. Material (excluding designs, graphics and logos) may be reproduced free of charge provided this is done accurately and not used in a misleading context.

This material was produced by COI Communications as part of its Common Good Research programme and is Crown Copyright. All government departments and their agencies are invited to make free use of it but are asked to observe the following guidelines when doing so.

  1. Appropriate acknowledgement should be made to COI Communications when using the material.

Your data will be stored in a database associated with this site. Only members of the COI Communications team that work on the site are authorised to have direct access to this database.

If you cancel your registration your details will be deleted from the database.If you wish to re-join in the future you will need to complete the form again.

We may use the information we collect for internal review, to improve site content or layout and to notify users of updates. We will not share it with other organisations for commercial purposes.
