Common Good Research
About Us
COI's Common Good Research programme focuses on target audiences where comprehensive information on communications issues is not widely available. The name "Common Good" has been chosen because the findings are designed to benefit all government departments and their agencies. The main objective of the programme is to provide strategic and creative guidance on the best ways to communicate with these target audiences.
So far, the programme has explored three key audiences for government campaigns:
- Older People (currently on-going)
- Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
- Black and minority ethnic communities (BMEs)
Among each audience, the research currently has two components:
- Desk research: reviewing existing knowledge
- Qualitative research - reports from the latest study among older people available from 1 January 2006 (50 - 75 year olds) and March 2006 (76+ year olds)
